Spiderfish (Cell) hangs in that odd, electric space between delicacy and ferocity. A lone Spiderfish drifts through a storm of colour—part creature, part architecture—its thread-thin legs recalling Louise Bourgeois’ giant spider and the quiet strength she gave to intricate things. The environment around it feels cellular, cosmic, and aquatic all at once, as if the creature is suspended inside a protective membrane that’s threatening to burst.

It’s a painting about fragility built to endure—strange, graceful, and a little unsettling in the best way.
