Leda and the Swan drifts into the strange glow around modern “enlightened” public figures—those magnetic personalities who promise transformation while hiding entire weather fronts behind their eyes. Inspired by the unsettling charisma explored in recent investigative podcasts and documentaries, this work reimagines the myth through the lens of contemporary cults of personality.

The swan becomes a symbol of charm turned slippery; beauty turned strategic. Figures hover in a lush, nocturnal landscape, caught between devotion and suspicion. The winged central figure seems both guide and omen, while spectral bodies gather around her like students unsure whether they’re witnessing a revelation or a performance.
